Happy Halloween!

After several outfit changes and shirking the costume we actually bought for Halloween, I decided to be (wait for it...) a PRINCESS.  Shocking, I know.
Somewhat predictably, I too decided to be...a PRINCESS.
And Baby Boots got to be a pumpkin!  While Anna picked her nose

I left this evening with one empty purple pumpkin.  I returned with said purple pumpkin FILLED with candy and an additional bucket filled with candy, a stuffed animal, toys and stickers.  There are advantages to having grandparents as neighbors!
We got big marshmallows on a stick...
And a screaming baby in the middle of all our loot.  How crazy is that - for a 2 1/2 year old and a 4 year old and about a one hour run for candy?  Pretty awesome, really.
So awesome, let's do the naked candy dance (you knew we had to get nekkid...)

If you think the pictures are cute wait until Mommy gets the candy dance video uploaded tomorrow.  Don't worry, it's with clothes.
While Mommy hated to miss the tricker treats she got to stay home with the sweetest little treat of all - besides us, of course.
Happy Halloween Y'all!
Love,
Lilly, Anna AND Jack!

Tricker Treat!

Baby?  What baby?  We want candy!  Here begins our 4 day Halloween extravaganza!  We love Halloween in the 'Ville...
 ...with a few friends!!
This is my "I just got a Tootsie Roll" face!
 And HERE'S a change!!
Mama is one hand typing...  Currently we are at our 3rd "tricker treating" festival and Mama is home with Jack...trying to resist the urge to vaccuum and do laundry.  Oh those pesky A-type personalities!!
More pics to come!

More Family Pictures!

Mommy is just going to put up a whole bunch of awesome pictures and let the cuteness speak for itself.  For once, Mommy will shut her pie hole.  Just this once...

 Going home!!

Okay, okay, okay - I just can't keep all the way quiet - I mean - how lucky, how blessed - are we to have such a beautiful, wonderful, perfect and healthy family?  I love this life.  Every minute of it.

Mommy

Our New Family Unit

Hey Daddy - we made this!
Love,
Mommy

Meet Jack!

Introducing Jack Leo!  Just Jack!  AKA BOOTS!  Born October 26 at 10:45 PM weighing 7 lbs, 1.6 oz and 20.5 inches long.
If Mommy looks a little tipsy it's because she lost a whole lotta blood and bodily fluids and all that fun stuff.  But the GOOD news was that Jack came after TWO PUSHES.  That is no lie.  So all those jokes Mommy made to friends about walking around with the baby practically falling out of her vajay-jay?  They were true.  He practically did.
Jack's feet are black because he got footprints made...  Anyway here's Jack with proud Daddy!
Looks like Daddy and Jack got some sleep today.  Must be nice...
Hey look at Daddy in the hospital bed!  It's hard work watching your wife labor for 7 hours and dilating from 5 cm to 10 cm in just an HOUR AND A HALF!  Rest easy, Daddy!
If anyone in the family knows where that John Travolta chin came from we'd love to know!
So Mommy got some pictures up!  SHEW!  I know she'll work hard to add more in the next few days but things are getting busy, busy.  We haven't even MET Jack yet (and already Lilly does not approve the name change - so we'll probably continue calling him Boots).  This is going to be exciting.  Poor Jack has no idea he has to share Mommy and Daddy with two high-maintenance divas.  Get ready, Jack!  It's going to be a wild ride!
Love,
Your New Family

Mmmmm! Dat's Goooooooood!!

What's for dinner?  How about instead of whatever Mommy takes the time to cook, I take a slice of American cheese, fold it into 16 little squares, top with a green grape...
And pop the whole thing in my mouth?
Repeat 8 times to make a meal.
Mmmmm...dat's goooooood.

Birthday Part-Two!

My month-long birthday celebration continues with a homemade cake and pillar candle on my actual day of birth, October 21 - quietly celebrated at home with the four of us and Babi!  Mommy and Daddy saved the family presents that came in the mail for me to open on this day!
 Love this face!

First up, a Princess puzzle from my dazzling sister, Anna.  Thank you, Anna!  How'd you know?
Next up, a fabulous box of goodies that Mommy didn't get around to wrapping (sorry) from Uncle Mark and Miss Soon To Be Aunt Kimber!  Thank you so much for the Rapunzel dress and doll!!
Anna's got her eye on that dress...
And Babi trying to explain to me what exactly this is from Uncle Dan...
As you can see, Anna quickly figured it out - a 5 lb completely edible gummy bear!
Here I am pretending to take a bite...
And here Anna is tearing it up...
No, really, she went to town on that thing.
So much so she got her shirt all sticky and it was strip-down time...

And then time to change into MY new Rapunzel dress...
Which was okay because Mommy found this beautiful "Queen of Hearts" dress that was one of my gifts from Mommy and Daddy - and in which I had no interest in whatsoever until Mommy told me it was "The dress that Belle wore, when she played outside in the snow with the Beast..."  Then suddenly I loved it.
Who says marketing and licensing doesn't work on 4 year olds?

The happy Princesses!
Thank you again for the wonderful presents, all my fans!
Love,
Lilly and Anna
