Our Dance Pics!

 Anna Jane is a "Royal Princess" tap dancer this year!  Isn't her costume adorable?  We are so proud of her, she does a GREAT job!  Her recital is this Friday night.

And here is sweet Lilly Bean who will be doing two dances to songs from "Hercules" - she is so leggy and graceful but she did not like dance at all.  Mommy wasn't really sure how to process this, as dance was ALL she did as a kid (no sports for this Mama) but we really do love swimming, gymnastics, and of course - HORSES.  So Mommy and Daddy have agreed to let us pursue those things that interest us.  This might be our first and ONLY dance recital.  A little bittersweet.  Mama should have started us earlier.  Oh well.  Lots of time to find our passion!

Lilly's First Art Show

 Welcome to my first art show.  My "piece" is the framed one hanging above me.  I realize I look a little pained in this picture - but look at Anna Jane's sweet smile!

 Here we go, much better - and we have Anna Jane rocking the arm pop.  Get it, girl!

 I'm so proud of your talent, Lilly Bean!  I can't wait to see how your art evolves and grows over the years.  I hope you continue to love art as much as you do now.  You really are gifted at it!

Happy (First) 2K Graduation, Jack!

 There's my little man - in the front row - see him?  This year he got bumped into the 2K class (though he technically missed the cutoff date which is September 1 in SC) so he'll be "repeating" 2K next year.  Therefore Mommy did not shed any tears today for Jacky's graduation - 'cause next year there'll be another one.  Even still, we can't believe how fast this is all going.

 Anna Jane was able to make it to the graduation, too - we cut short a field trip to the zoo so we wouldn't miss Jack Attack's big moment.

 Of course, Anna Jane has a way of making everyone's big moment a little...bigger?  Work it, girl.

 Hey you dig my haircut?  Mommy has learned that it doesn't matter where we go to get a boy's hair cut - dude's are gonna cut it the way they want to cut it.  So, in six months when Mommy takes me back for another haircut she's going to take me to her girly stylist to do it right.  Sorry, barbers.  You're out.

Our First Real Gymnastics Meet!

 That's right, I struck this pose all by mah-self.  I am going to rock this whole little girl gig.

 Have you been to a gymnastics meet?  They are long and crazy.  This is my first event, the high beam.

 And here's my dismount.  10!

 My first ever floor routine.  I halfway did it, I fell to the floor and started rolling around which was not part of the routine.  There's money well spent!

 In all my meet took just over 2 hours with only four events.  We weren't exactly expecting that.

 Here's me and my big sister with her show of support.  Love the toothless look.  We had just enough time to run home, nuke some chicken nuggets, change clothes, grab the electronic babysitters and jump back in the van for Lilly's meet!

 We'll just skip to the fun part - the end!

 See we're holding hands?  Sweet sisters.  Mama didn't even notice that until someone on Facebook pointed it out.  Then it made her heart sing.

Way to go, sweet girls!  I can't wait to see what little gymnasts you might grow to be!

Baby Ava Taylor Made to Drive Uncle Matt and Aunt Nikki CA-RAY-ZAY!!

 Y'all - is she not the CUTEST?!?  Look at that hair!  And her eyes - she is going to have such gorgeous eyes!  And guess who was quite taken with her?

 Yep, her kindred spirit cousin - Anna Jane.  Anna Jane just loved, loved, loved on her and gave her all her secrets to...

 ...driving your Mama and Daddy BONKERS!

 Shhhhh...Ava don't tell anyone what I told you!  These trade secrets are worth millions of dollars.  We will publish a book together some day.

 These two are going to be best friends.  They have the same little noses!!  They look alike!  It is so sweet!!

Tobster Got Hit By a Car

 Who ever would have thought that besides DADDY - I LOVE this dog the most?!  Really, he's my doggie.  We all love him very, very much but there's just something extra special about him to me.  He's the best dog ever.

 However, he's not the smartest.  He ran out in front of a car a couple weeks ago and got hit by a car.  Don't worry, don't worry he's FINE.  Hopefully he learned a dern lesson about running away and in front of cars.  Dumb dog.  He's got hound dog in him and they're pretty good at NOT LISTENING.  He fits RIGHT IN with the family!  He was pretty sore for a couple days but we've been treating him with prayers, TLC, and joint medicine.  

 We figure we'll have at least 4,200 more days like this where we can play with him, jump on him, run with him, throw things at him, and love on him.

Every kid should grow up with a dog like Tobster.  He's the best!  We love you, Toby!

Daddy Daughter Dance

 This year we went on a double date with our Daddy to the Daddy Daughter dance at church!  Before the dance our school had a festival.  So I got my face painted.  Oh well.  What are you gonna do?

 These pictures were taken by a photographer at the dance.  Aren't they beautiful?  What special little memories for us of a great date with Daddy!

 And we saw some of our sweet friends there and danced, danced, danced the night away!
