Peace!

I am standing up and "cruising" all over everything now! The sofa, my gates, the dog, whatever is available! I think I will be walking in no time. I'm so much more advanced than my Mommy who didn't even crawl at all and never walked until she was 14 months old. No one seems to remember when Daddy was doing this stuff, probably because he was the third kid and my Grandma and Grandpa were too busy chasing Uncle Sean and Aunt Tracey around the house. I'm so glad I'm the first! I get all of Mommy and Daddy's attention and I demand attention!
Remember my Mommy phase? That was short-lived. I'm in a Daddy phase now. I think it's because Daddy has been on nights and has hardly been home. It stinks! I see Mommy all the time and she is not as much fun as Daddy who builds me special forts and mazes with all of the boxes in the basement he refuses to unpack. It's so much more fun to play with them, believe you me.
I hope everyone enjoys the holiday weekend! I'm going to Nashville to see Babi and Duda. I hope they buy me toys! Hint! Hint!

Welcome to the World Little Luke!

This is my new friend, Luke Daniel. He was born last Thursday and he is bigger than I was when I was born by 3 ounces but look how tiny he is! Mommy was so excited to hold a new little baby...a little too excited if you ask me.

Luke used his birth money to go out and buy some hair.

Since no one was paying attention to me I decided to throw down a couple. Look, just like Mommy! I'm double-fisting!

This is Luke's big sister, Olivia. She can not believe how much I can drink.

And this is Mommy's friend Kelly. We love Kelly soooooo much! Kelly was one of Mommy's roommates and best friends in college and she just moved to Cincinnati, two streets away from where we lived! And the next week we moved to Louisville! Ain't that a stinker?!

Speaking of stinkers, you know I am one! I woke up at 5:00 this morning. Mommy got up with me and on our way to the nanny-sitters at 8:00 I fell asleep. I bet I slept the whole morning. And poor Mommy the working stiff sat in front of her computer and pretended to work. Talk about a stinker!

Dem Bars...

I got to visit Grammy and Grampa this weekend. That's always fun because I get lots of love and attention and Grammy buys me cute clothes. This time we went to the park. While we were at the park I played on this little gym with these bars! I liked the bars actually, and if you'll notice Grampa on the other side of them. He said to me, "Lilly you'll have to ask Daddy about looking out from these bars in college." I don't know what that means because my Daddy was an angel in college and never did anything wrong, well, except for that one time...on his record... Well MOMMY was an angel in college because she doesn't have anything on record! So does that mean I will grow up to be an angel too? Probably. Just to spite my grandparents who had their hands full with my Mommy and my Daddy in high school and beyond, I will be a perfect little angel!

Gorillas and Tigers and Housework, Oh My!

Good-bye ugly, ugly cloud wallpaper! Pew! Good riddance!

Long time no see people! I am a very busy baby! I am crawling all over the place, attracted to objects of the electrical nature. Mommy really needs to keep an eye on me these days. It's so much fun to crawl around and get into things, I love it!

I had my Babi and Teti ALL WEEK last week and it was AWESOME!!! Mommy came home every day and Babi cooked dinner! And cleaned! And it ROCKED! Teti kept busy by tearing down wallpaper in the upstairs bathroom! And Mommy, Teti and Babi painted and finished the living room and family room. The house is FINALLY starting to come together, Mommy actually bought some nice new furniture for the family room last week. And we don't have to worry about the cats ruining it because tomorrow they are getting DECLAWED! This is mostly because now that I'm crawling I like to chase and grab the kitties, and they don't like it so much. In fact Garp doesn't like it at all, she swats at me with those nasty claws of hers but not no more! Ha! Sorry kitty! I win! I'm the baby!

I'm so overdue Mommy wanted to post all kinds of pictures but these pictures from the zoo were really neat, this little gorilla made friends with me. I love her. I wish I could play with her but I will go back to the zoo to visit her.

And look how close I got to get to this tiger! Now THOSE are claws!

Have You Met Beau?

I don't think I've introduced you to Beau, my doll. I acquired Beau at a toystore in Nashville, Tennessee. Beau is French, really. He's some sort of French plastic doll. (So good luck replacing him, Mommy if I ever lose or destroy him). They had a few dolls of this variety at the store, boys and girls, in cute little outfits. I wanted this one, he wears blue overalls with little white kitties on them. There were little girl dolls, and Babi tried to get me to take one of the little girl dolls but I dropped them on the floor. I'm no idiot, I wanted the little boy!

Beau goes with me everywhere now. I sleep with him, I play with him, I eat his face.

Daddy took some pictures of me with Beau. Do you know my Daddy takes horrible pictures? No, really, he really does. If Mommy had more time she would edit them but Mommy already takes up enough time on the corporate WAN to write my blog for me. So today you'll have to settle for crappy pictures Daddy took. I mean, they're still pretty cute, because I'm in them.

I know Mommy promised you pictures from swim lessons but it occurred to Mommy in the pool, how was she going to take them AND hold me up in the water? Hmmmm... A conundrum! So, we will get pictures from swim lessons THIS Saturday because Babi and Teti will be there to take them. I will ham it up for you!

Babi and Teti are here this week to take care of me while my Nanny-Sitter is on yet another vacation. I will have lots of stories for you I'm sure!
