Storytime With Garp

I like to read to Garpy at bedtime.  She makes a good audience.  Garpy is TEN YEARS OLD this Spring.  Do we know when her birthday is?  Do you really think Mama would be able to keep track of something like that?  Please?  Do you know Mommy at all?  She has a hard enough time keeping track of our birthdays.  Incidentally, MY birthday is in just a couple weeks and WHAT are we doing for my birthday, Mommy?  Hmmmmmm???????
Well it was about this time about 10 years ago, give or take that Garpy was born.  Then, sometime in May or June or July or something like that Daddy adopted Garpy from the humane society.  Mama thought this was an exercise in fake outs.  She did not want a cat.  AT ALL.  Daddy went with Mommy to the humane society so she could pick out a dog.  A black and tan cocker spaniel.  Who hated cats!  But Daddy found Garpy and Garpy he got.  Mommy did not get a dog.  Mommy STILL doesn't have a dog.  Mommy thought for sure Daddy was going to fake her out, "Just joking I'm not going to get a stupid cat."  WRONG.  Ten years, 152,766 piles of puke later, Garpy is still with us and she's my best friend!  Thanks, Daddy, for Garpy!
Love,
Lilly, Anna and Jack
